While the new brand was not intended for Westcourt's typical ultra-high-net-worth client, it still needed to maintain the prestigious appeal embodied by that audience.
Additionally, because these services were offered through advisors—and not directly—framing them as "solutions" was strategically important.
A Challenging logotype Idea
Westcourt envisioned a gear as their core identity element — symbolizing precision, connection, and performance. While meaningful, this choice risked blending in with overused imagery from other industries.
Our Solution refined the gear into a distinctive, premium identity — positioning Westcourt as a sophisticated leader in alternative investments.

As part of this project, Westcourt sought to revamp their online presence. We needed to create something as sophisticated as their brand while reinforcing their position as leaders in the Canadian alternative investments space.
Equally important was differentiating Westcourt Solutions from their parent company, Westcourt Capital, to clearly position Solutions as the advisor-focused brand.
As a financial company, the styling of the charts and numbers was a major focus. We sought to achieve both clarity and elegance.
The company was committed to sharing their Insights with the world and establishing themselves as a thought leader beyond their network, so we created a beautiful and user friendly house for their content covering all media types.
In true Paula fashion, we created a polished, intuitive interface that delivers a seamless experience whether users are on desktop or mobile.
